Corporate staff

There’s more to Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service than people often think – our Operational staff are supported by people in a wide range of professional, technical and administrative roles.

Corporate roles include Finance, ICT, HR, Training, Health & Safety, Assets, Fleet, Equipment Management and Workshops, Education and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

Our staff work in fairly small teams throughout Dorset and Wiltshire, so most roles are varied and interesting. Many of our Corporate staff work normal office hours, but we employ a high proportion of part-timers and a number of roles are not just the usual nine to five.

Just like Operational staff, Corporate staff work together closely to achieve the Service’s mission to make life safer for people in Dorset and Wiltshire.

Benefits include access to Blue Light card and other local discounts; employee recognition scheme and loyalty award; generous annual leave allowance; flexible working opportunities and comprehensive health and wellbeing resources.  For a full list of the benefits available when you work for us visit https://www.dwfire.org.uk/working-for-us/employee-benefits/.
